There are a million different plant care tips out there, but most of them are geared towards smaller plants. Once your plants get bigger, the care changes a bit. Here are some best practices to care for large plants.  1. Water less frequently Since there is more soil, you'll give it more water to drench the soil, this will also mean it will take longer to dry out so you'll want to wait longer between watering. Best Plants for Plant Newbs

One of my biggest mistakes when I first started buying houseplants was just picking ones that I liked instead of what I could reasonably take care of. That lead to a lot of dead plants and discouragement. If I had known, I would have started with some of these plants!
